You're not looking at HEC Paris? FT says that it's average starting salary is around $120k, but more importantly it's one of the highest ranked for international mobility (usually a good proxy for the ability of international students to find a job within the country after graduation.)

INSEAD is also ranked pretty highly in these respects.

Thanks a ton for the elaborate advice & sugegstions.

As of now, I have got an admit from Audencia & had lined up applications with Rouen & IESEG (they have an inaugaral IMBA starting this year, so still checking out).
Audencia seems a very good bet & the employment rate + international exposure makes it a very highly-sought option for me. Also, Nantes as a city has fine living with moderate living costs.
I couldnt choose HEC as an option since my acads might not be amongst the best (though my experience is phenomenal), but mostly due to the extremely costly fees.
For Audencia, I applied quite early so eligible for a good 9000euro discount. Also, I intend to try my best at other scholarships.

I have learned French years ago up to B1 level & have been speaking & using French quite regularly at work.

With the MBA, I will continuously try attain higher fluency in French. Hopefully upto a C1 level as you adviced.

Still being an Indian, the euro exchange rate is quite costly so I would need to earn in Euros at least until I recover my loan amuont. Hence I was keen on knowing the employability & the average salary for an MBA.

I don't see how IESEG is a good option if the other two are in play.

EDHEC is currently the only of these three ranked in the FT.

Hi Rohit, I saw your post quite late. Yes, I finished the MBA. While the MBA and international immersion + diversity was excellent, not many have stayed back or been able to find jobs in France. I remain one of the only few who persevered and got one. The salaries mentioned arent the same, unless you are working in Americas. France MBA is cheaper than American counterpart, but again the salaries are lesser. The good part in France is medical and other benefits are covered widely, so is the job security. However, finding the job here is tough as hell (only 2-3 out of the batch of 40). With knowledge of French it is more possible, but also the wait is long and expensive (coz apart from startups,the companies recruitment cycle is very very long).
Please make sure you get as much as scholarship or get least loan amount possible so it is less pressure. Also, go out meet people, getting a job is all your responsibility, there is no placement as such, only networking and guidance.

I have got an opportunity to do Masters in Business Analytics and Consulting from IESEG France. Now, I am also in dilemma whether should I go for this course or not. As I am also from India and it will going to be a expensive if I go for it. That's why I would like to take your advice. Do you have any knowledge about this Business Analytics course? is this course have any relevance there? What would be your suggestion?

Just to give you a little background about me. I too have done engg. in mechanical but at present I am working as data analyst in very good MNC in India with a decent salary package. I opted for Business Analytics course as I thought it will be relevant to my field of work but now I am not sure what to do. Can you please help me?

This looks like a well-designed school. I'm a bit worried about the entry criteria, because they do not require French. Obviously many of the students will speak French. However, it will be very hard to get internships and work opportunities without great French. Being away from the main campus in Lille, the career services will be a bit more limited at La Defense. Is it possible to get a post MBA job in France if you do not speak French?

The opportunity is very limited in any country if you don't speak the language.

I would say it's possible but rather unlikely. Maybe internationally facing businesses would need English speakers but you'd still probably need French for internal communication. Multinationals that have headquarters in France are probably there because they interface with country, so French will probably be required or at least highly necessary.

I appreciate the candor. I am working on my French at the moment but I don't think I'll be able to become fluent before I start the MBA this fall.

Hello everyone....I have got an admit in EDHEC Global MBA program. However I am little sceptical about the employment scenario. I do understand that to work in Europe, the knowledge of local language and networking will hold the key. So it will be really helpful if I can get some insights about the scenario.
Background - 5.5 yrs exp in Steel industry in India. Intend to work in operation consulting or supply chain role in any european or asian countries.

EDHEC alum here. Read through the thread and come back with more specific questions. You already know that there is no Indian-style placement in other countries so you need to network and that will be greatly helped by the effort you put into improving your French.

PS also read the recent threads on Audencia and Lyon. EDHEC has some of the issues of the other leading provincial schools.

Honestly if you are focussed on operations and supply chain then I would also consider the MIT Scale degrees like ZLOG, Luxembourg and Malaysia. ZLOG is cheaper than most MBAs but leads to higher salaries.
