Master of Real Estate (MRE) and MBA

Hi everyone,
I need your advices about my plan. I work as an Architect for my self now, but i realized that i'm not really good at this area. What i like about architect is design, implementation and how to sell it also the transaction progress :)) . THe rest is handled by another team or some times i hire them.
During this progress, i plan to improve my knowledge about this subject and i facing 2 options now between MRE or MBA,
i consider MBA is because their practical content and of course the marketing course could be implied in general. I'm still open to go back to another Property or Real Estate company and contribute with Marketing Strategies that i learned. On the other hand, MRE is more specific to conduct Real Estate, specially the invesments. I know i'm a lil bit slow to count sort of math pattern, but Real Estate is the next series of what i'm doing now ( as an architect ).

So, what do you think guys ? or do you have an idea about MRE or MBA for their prospect in the job market.

Usually, I recommend MBAs over specialized master's programs because they provide substantially better returns on investments. In this case though, the programs you're looking at are really two different animals. With an MBA, you will probably have more post-graduation career options in general management, either in real estate or even another industry. WIth an MRE, you'll be learning more about elements specific to functional real estate development: that is, property management, design, etc. It's really up to you to figure out what you want to do after graduation and study accordingly.

One thing: you posted in the Europe forum - so I assume you're looking at programs in Europe? If that's the case, your options in terms of master of real estate programs are more limited than in the States. I know HEC Paris has a real estate program that's launched recently; and Henley has one too - but I'm not sure there are many more. Have you researched any programs already.

In terms of MBAs with real estate concentrations in Europe, start with LSE and Aberdeen; and some programs, such as INSEAD, have related electives.
