MBA Energy Management - TU Berlin

I have been admitted to the program, but as it is a new program that started last year I am concerned about the job prospects after finishing it.
As as Engineering Uni I think it is very well recognized but I do not know how it may be regarded by German companies and I also have concerns about the german level I can achieve when I complete it.

I moved to Berlin 4 months ago because my girlfriend started here her PhD, and I would like to continue my career here for a couple of years.

I am a chemical engineer with 4 years of experience in business development, and currently finishing the B1 level, perhaps I can start the program (1,5 years) with B2.

Any opinion would be of great help.

Take the DSH not an unaccredited MBA.

Hi Guilherme,
I actually got admitted in the same program a week ago and I am declining the offer.

I agree with Duncan's advise and quoting him from above post, "It doesn't have international accreditation. With fluent German students would have similar outcomes' to MSc students".

Why don't you take a look at ESMT Berlin. Some of the founding companies of the school, like Bayer, Bosch, e.on, Gazprom, KPMG may be interested in your Chemical Engg background.
The program starts in Jan 2018 giving you another 6months to work on your German.

Thank you very much for your answers.

ESMT seems quite hard to get in and you have to prepare the GMAT.

I will keep looking for options, to be more "hireable".

You wouldn't know until you try.
Otherwise, language seems to be most important parameter that will make you more "hire-able"

I don't see how the TUB MBA really helps. There are so many better options in Berlin: ESCP Europe allows students to spend a semester in Berlin, and to extend their studied to get both German and French MBA degrees. The HWR's IMB MBAs are also accredited. Even the Grenoble MBA at GISMA would be better. None of them, however, feel better than a solid qualification of German language skills.
