Hello,
I have been looking at MBA programmes and have a hard time deciding between two programmes: ENPC in Brussels/Paris and HULT in London with a possibility to rotate to Dubai, Shanghai, San Francisco, Boston, New York.
About me: I am fluent in English, though not a native speaker. Also, I do speak some French (A2 level), my GMAT is 620 and I have a 5 years work experience in IT consulting.
I am looking for a MBA that allows me to check out innovation management and maybe get into starting my own company. I also would like to check for potential to move into something else than IT. Also, I would like to get as much international exposure as possible - the chance to also learn a new language would be most welcome.
I am not looking for a two year programme, which is one of the reasons I am looking at the two programmes HULT/ENPC in more detail currently. Also, I should mention that I am looking for 2016 currently - thus any other options would be most welcome.
Now after reading a bit about the two MBAs (and finding tons of info here on the forums), I started a pro/con list on them:
HULT:
+ global rotation programme (great international exposure)
+ London as home campus offers great career opportunities
+ good rankings (compared with ENPC)
- somewhat negative reputation on some forums (mostly older posts though)
- expensive
ENPC:
+ good faculty (visiting professors from top schools)
+ possibility for me to improve my French
+ strong focus on innovation/entrepreneurship
- almost never shown in rankings
- lacking career services (probably only with a focus on France, somewhat limiting if one is not fluent in French)
What do you think about the two programmes in comparison? Which would you pick and why? What are other pros/cons for the respective programmes?
Thank you
