MBA or Msc

Hello,
My name is Konstantin and I am from Russia. I am 28 years old, I have master degree in Computer Science, 5 years experience as Software Developer and Team Leader in worldwide IT company. I decided to change my career path and go into management.

I am asking for your advice concerning choosing the degree and university. I have not really big budget for the education at this moment. I plan to take GMAT and IELTS exams soon (in next 3 month).

First question is about degree type MBA or Msc or maybe some post-graduate education? As I understood for low budget it would be better to take Msc.
and the second question about university I was thinking about Aalto University in Finland (recognized by AACSB, AMBA, EQUIS) and HUB University in Brussels.
But maybe I missed some good program?
Please, advise.

Add the column for 'Fees' to this ranking http://rankings.ft.com/businessschoolrankings/masters-in-management-2012 and then research the affordable schools towards the top of the ranking, like Aalto. This ranking focusses on MSc programmes in general management but look to see if the same business schools run other MSc programmes which relate more to your interests.

An MBA from an accredited school will usually hold more value and give you a better return on your investment in the long-run, versus an MSc.

Beyond the return on your investment, you should also consider your career goals. Do you want to stay in the IT field? Where do you want to work?A degree from Hogeschool - Universiteit Brussel will be less valuable outside of Belgium. Same is true with a degree from Aalto.

If you want a degree with wider recognition, you want to look for something from a better-known school. Start with the top Masters in Management list that Duncan linked to. If you're specifically looking at European programs, you might want to explore schools like Rotterdam, Mannheim, and HEC Paris - all of which offer a range of MBAs and Masters in Management programs.
