MBA via : Robert Kennedy College and York St John

Good afternoon All

Has anyone here come across the Robert Kennedy College in Switzerland (who are offering 1-3 yr MBA programs via an online model) along with York St John University in the UK ?

Up to now, my key question to them has been specifically regards to their accreditation, of which they do not refer to any of the agencies in the 'triple crown' - but they have gone on to say: 'Our MBA program is fully accredited by the British Government and also recognized worldwide.'

Can anyone here add some 'good, bad or ugly' ? - or perhaps direct me to another reliable source to verify the validity of their program and MBA?

I think the search function on the discussion board is good. These are MBAs from real, but below average, provincial English universities. They have none of the triple crown accreditations and are aimed at international students with no need for an above average MBA.

Thanks for your clear message Duncan.. I will not keep you long from your writing.. Do you see any pitfalls to working in the UK or internationally in predominantly English speaking nations with this 'below average MBA'? (FYI - I am a mature student hoping to use this as an exit strategy out of the Maritime Industry into a shore based role and not specifically focused on 'traditional, big, corporate or finance world.. but I am looking at new and prosperous horizons.')

Well. You get a structured reading list and a set of exercises, which of course you could get for free -- and better elsewhere. You get marks and comments as feedback on your coursework, though probably not very different from a for-credit MOOC. But yes it's a waste of resources because you could get better for less.
