London Business School (will take 15 months though, does take students with less than 3 years of work experience. Quote form their website: "The range of work experience within the class is between 2 and 14 years. If you have less than three years' work experience you will need to show superior academic credentials or evidence of outstanding performance." )

Oxford University - Said (quote: "Whilst most of our students have more than three years experience, we do consider those with less work experience. If this is the case, we look for candidates who are able to demonstrate a high level of maturity, combined with evidence of leadership ability.")

All of the major other programs require at least 3 years of professional experience. I would urge you to ponder if you don't want to keep working for another year before applying. Not only will your profile be a better fit, but the list of potential 1 year MBA programs will get much longer. For instance:

Hi, Alma Graduate School in Bologna, Italy requires only 2 years of work experience.

The MBA has six different majors (all taught completely in English):
- Brazil-Europe Business Relations
- Design, Fashion and Luxury Goods
- Food and Wine
- Global Industrial Enterprise
- Green Energy
- Retail in the Banking and Financial Industry

In addition to scholarships and financial aid, there are long-term honor loans available for all admitted students through the school's partnership with UniCredit Bank. The honor loan covers up to full tuition (minus any scholarships) PLUS ?10k for living expenses. Theoretically, you can go to the school without paying anything out of pocket right now.

I would check out these three schools in Germany:

1. Munich Business School
2. University of Mannheim
3. University of Leipzig

Although from my knowledge, most European MBA programs require three years of work experience.

If you have a very strong background, they can make you an exception. However, are you planning on going back to Canada? As far as I know, North American companies only know LBS. So you might have trouble getting a job if you decide to go back to Canada or the US.

Regarding to schools, don't settle for some lowly ranked school with no accreditation just because it requires only 2 years of professional experience. Someone mentioned Alma Graduate School and I have never seen it in any rankings. The best MBA program in Italy is SDA Bocconi. I would not go to any other business school in Italy. Plus, does Alma have any accreditation? The most important ones are EQUIS and AMBA. You want to go to the school that has those. If they also have AACSB, that's even better. It is called tripled accreditation and it is hard to get. Your background sounds very interesting and would be appealing to good schools.

It is too late to apply to most schools for 2011. Won't you have 3 years by the time you enroll to the program (2012)? Start working on your applications now and apply to a few so if you get admitted to more than one, when you can choose.
