MSc in Europe
Posted Mar 19, 2012 13:20
Hi everyone,
I have applied for MSc Management programs in Europe and I have offers from EADA, EDHEC and Strathclyde and I am also waiting replies from IE and ESCP Europe. I need help to make decision on which program I should attend. In FT rankings, EADA, EDHEC and Strathclyde are close to eachother but IE and ESCP seems one step ahead. I would like to hear your opinions regarding to these B-schools and please consider after having MSc degree I am planning to work in Europe or US.
Thanks in advance,

I don't see how these schools will help you to find work in the US.
Where in Europe are you most likely to find work? Focus there.

IE has a high reputation but economic recession that Spain is facing now makes finding a good job in Spain almost impossible. Strathclyde may be a good option in terms of finding a job in UK but is it worth to eliminate other good options just because of having a higher possibility of finding a job in UK? I think IE is a much more prestigious school in the global scale than Strahtclyde...

I think you need to set a career goal, not just focus on the rankings. IE is quite simply *NOT* "much more prestigious school in the global scale" - it is well known in Latin America; Strathclyde is well known in the UK and Commonwealth. If you think the UK is the most probable place for you to find work, then I cannot see any reason to study elsewhere or, at the least, not take a joint programme like CEMS.

I see..In this case, what do you think about ESCP European Business program which is a 1 year program that students are required to spend 2 semesters in two different countries? It is like a joint program that CEMS offer only difference is program is conducted only by ESCP.

That's a good programme if you aim to work those two countries.
