MSc in International Business Management

Hi all,
I have been reading the forum for quite some time and this is my first post. I'm a data scientist, 26 years old with 3+ years of relevant experience in BI, software engineering, and data science. I already have an MSc but I want to expand my knowledge in management and business and build up better connections through a good school.

I'm have applied to two programs and got accepted in both: 1) EMIB at ESCP (costs around 13k euros) and 2) MSc in International Business Management at EDHEC (costs around 16k euros). While the two programs are quite similar I'm a bit hesitant about ESCP because the degree is not well accredited. On the other hand, EDHEC's program is new and there aren't any graduates.

In conclusion, I don't know if I should enroll in any of the above or wait a few years and save up more money and apply to an MBA at a better school (INSEAD for instance). Currently, I'm 60% confident that EDHEC is a better choice but still not quite sure. Does anyone have a piece of advice on choosing between the universities or choosing between business management program and MBA?

Unfortunately yes. As I'm self-funding for the degree I have to work at the same time. So an online degree suits me the best.

Are you looking specifically at France? I guess these are the best, affordable options from grandes ecoles.

Thanks for the answer. I'm not specifically looking at French schools. However, based on my research top schools that are offering an online degree at an affordable cost are these two.

Why not take the UIUC MBA or MS, or the BU MBA?

Yes, given the relatively lack of non-MBA business master's that are completely online, I'd instead look at strongish online MBAs instead, especially those where work experience requirements / expectations are lower than their on-campus counterparts. Starting the UIUC MBA on Coursera, at least just doing the initial specializations, might be a good start.

Thank you so much for the replies. I checked both UIUC and BU. Honestly, BU and UIUC are a bit expensive for my budget.

Since EDHEC offers a lot of exposure through its online platform. For instance, the professors are available during the semester and there are other guides who will help during the semester. Basically, EDHEC is like a normal full-time study but the classes are online. At this time, I prefer to go with EDHEC. I personally don't like platforms like Coursera as I feel very distant from the professor.

I don't understand why you think that distance learning with one school will be more distant than the other. The degrees on coursera and Edx are not just the regular online courses anyone can take for free.
