MSc International Management

Hey Guys,

I am planning to pursue the MSc International Management course in Sept 2021. It will be of great help if you could just advise me on this. My aim is to pursue and build up an international career in consultancy or international business (with finance). I am from Spain and I have a BSc in Economics and a work exp of 1 year. I will study on a student Visa. I have an offer from University of Strathcylde business school (11k scholarship), but I applied for

-MSc International Management and Finance & Management at Exeter University (22k)
-MSc Management (strategy) Dublin City University (10k)
-MSc International Management Aston (20k)
-MSc Management Bradford (17k)
-MSc international Management Bath (22k)
- MSc International Business or MSc Strategy Management at UCD Dublin (14k)
-International Management Trinity (14k)
-MSc Management in Intern Business Grenoble (20k)
-MSc International Business and Strategy Lancaster (24k)
-MSc
I am also considering some other BS like Audencia, Ieseg, Neoma, Catolica Lisboa, Kozminski..

In April I might apply for TUM Munich (MSc Management and Technology) or Gothemburg(MSc International Management), in which you do not have to pay fees.

I am feeling really confused because of the wide range of offers. Anyone might help me? Duncan?

Language skills and the schools placement into consulting firms will be key. I doubt that you can speak the business languages of all these countries. Of the remaining schools, which place the most people into the type of consulting you are focussed on?

Thanks you for answering my post.

First of all, I would like to focus on strategy consulting and finance consulting. I am always willing to adapt myself to new fields and learn new things, so I am not sure that I will devote myself to Business consultant, but It can become a good starting point. To be honest, French is a language that I have always in mind, but because of work, I have never tried to improve my level. At the moment, I only speak Spanish and English.

And responding to your specific question, I do not have any idea. I just wanted to know which offer the best taking employability, ROI, prestigious, and quality teaching into consideration.

If you don't speak French you won't learn it to the professional level in an English language MSc. Focus on the UK, Ireland and Spain.

That's a huge number and range of schools and degrees that you applied for or are considering. Beyond Duncan's advice (focus on the country where you can speak the local language professionally), I think you could really benefit from thinking about your goals and narrowing your focus.
