With the new MiF ranking from the FT right around the corner, any predictions about what's going to happen?

Last year, French schools did really well - EDHEC led the ranking (was #4 in the previous edition), then HEC Paris, then ESSEC. Spain schools like IE dropped from the previous year and the schools in US and China were a bit mixed.

I think we might see a bit recalibration - UK schools seem to be strong right now, and I've seen / heard good employment data from the Warwick MSc Finance and the Oxford program as well. The Sloan Masters of Finance has shown exceptional salary data in the past years so maybe that will rise as well.

Looks like my predictions about UK schools seem to have been wrong!

I'm still not sure why the MIT program isn't ranked higher.

Other thoughts:

- Leeds grads had a 95% salary increase, the second highest in the list. But there salaries three years out are still the second lowest (almost $38k).

- Newcomer Bentley University had decent salary stats (almost $89k).

- UK schools are suffering due to the country's visa policies.

- Some mainland Europe schools made good improvements (Neoma, ISCTE)

Some interesting data in there: Aston is the top UK school for international mobility, for example. I'm surprised at how low some of those salaries are - Leeds, Liverpool, even Strathclyde grads all had average salaries lower than $50,000. Is that because many of the graduates of those programs go back to countries like India / China?

That would boost the salaries, because of PPP. More likely, they are taking salaries at the minimum for a UK work permit.

Average salaries for the NTU program that's in the ranking are around $32,000 - that's three years after graduation! That's even less than the current Tier 2 visa minimum salary (I think it's 30,000 GBP).
