I have a question concerning MBA course accreditation. Naturally, accredited courses and supposed to be better than unaccredited ones, but some courses seem to be accredited by fairly obscure accreditation boards. There are many different kinds of accreditation, and some of them, I suspect, are not really worth much at all. Could anyone shed any light on this please. Which accreditation boards are reputable ones?
I am considering the Leicester MBA, it is accredited by AMBA, which I think has a good reputation in the UK, not sure how well it is recognized globally though. Can anyone help.
Alternatively, i am considering the Anaheim MBA which is accredited by the The Distance Education and Training Council, I think this accreditation is less valuable.
Additionally, are US MBAs generally considered more reputable than ones from the UK, other parts of Europe and Asia?
Any advice much appreciated
Thank you
Daniel
