Hi everybody, I am a supply chain professional from South Africa with 4 years of work experience. I am considering doing an MBA to take me to the next stage of my career plus move internationally.
So far most of the good business schools for supply chain I have found are in the USA. Purdue, MIT Sloan, ASU, Michigan State, I know these are good schools. But I am a bit worried about the long term career prospects of moving to the USA. Specifically, I am concerned about the visa polices there.
I would like to broaden my search to countries that have strong job markets for supply chain careers plus more liberal visa policies. The problem is that I haven't been able to find good schools for supply chain in other English speaking countries like Australia, New Zealand, Canada, etc. England might be an option but I understand that visas can be problematic for international students as well.
Unfortunately I don't speak any other European languages well enough to do an MBA in those languages. I have conversational levels of Dutch, French, and German though. I suppose I could focus my energy over the next year to get up to speed on one of these languages. It would be a lot of work but if there is a good reason to do it, I would. So any suggestions along these lines would help.
Thanks in advance for any advice!
