My questions are as follows-
1) I have done some consulting projects for an insurance firm and an IT firm on the side and I really enjoy consulting as well. Since a career in consulting is more lucrative than a career in luxury, what schools can I target which would allow me to break into consulting if I decide to switch my Industry? I had taken the career leaders test as well and consulting and Product development were the two things at the top.
2) At LV I have worked in Business intelligence and have now been transferred to Marketing. I didn't really have a marketing role in mind as my undergrad is in econ but I do enjoy it now. However I do want to gain quantitative skills related to business analytics which would help me out in marketing. Would a generalised MBA be better for me or an MSc in marketing analytics or business analytics?
3) I have seen that programs like the msc in marketing at HEC and EDHEC place extremely well at loreal, LVMH, Richemont, Kering etc which are the firms that I want to Target. Would such a degree actually be better for me than an MBA considering that the luxury industry is not really known to hire MBAs.
4) One of my major aims is to switch Geographies and it's easiest to do so with countries like Canada or Australia. Do you think there are any options in these countries for a person with my profile?
I do speak Italian and am learning French. I plan on applying to these programs next year so that I am better at the language and have aan extra year of valuable work exI4,
