Hi,
I am an Indian and wanted to pursue an international MBA I had met some people from UK universities in India (on a education fair) i.e how started my application process and became interested in pursuing MBA in UK.
During this process(starting from 2014 oct) i have got conditional offer from strathclyde and have been trying to apply for Cranfield and Manchester Business schools for 2015 class.
My profile is i have 6 years work experience in IT for a Mining machinery company Caterpillar Inc. but i hold a btech in Mining Engineering and now want to proceed towards consultancy or Project Management
I have been asked by so many of my friends why i didn't consider USA?
I have no answer to that and i dont know what are the difference between these two country provided other than visa rules.
So my question if i wanted to compare MBA from UK and USA what all things i should be looking at ?If people here have done some work in this i would be happy to take their comments.
Secondly i am just marching towards getting an admission in a good university so i have taken FT rankings as my baseline and i keep applying to the one which is better ranked what my doubt is if the colleges differ by just five ranks can we take it always that the smaller number is always a good university(i.e MBS is 35 better than Cranfield is 45).
As you can see i tried for Strathclyde university and i am trying for Cranfield and MBS now in between there are many colleges even from USA which i didn't look in to
if at all i get a offer from Cranfield it would mean i need not worry about universities down then Cranfield's rank i.e 45.
