I think this will vary from country to country, and school to school. It will also be affected by your nationality. Large universities need more staff than small ones, and work opportunities may be mainly on campus. Well-funded universities that own a lot of land or are in areas where land is cheap are more likely to organise childcare, not only for students but also for staff. Residential schools that house most students are more likely to have family housing. In the US and UK, for example, Tuck and Cranfield stand out for me.

In terms of spouse support, many b-schools will have spouse clubs, etc., like this one at BU:

But for your wife finding work during your MBA, this will depend on a lot of factors, such as her visa status, etc.

I can't comment on facilities and costs and services in the USA or UK regarding families. I just finished a one year FT MBA at IAE - Aix in France, with my wife and two elementary school age daughters along. I put my daughters in the local public schools, and they learned French very quickly in a sink-or-swim situation; their French is better than mine. My wife was on a long-stay visa with no right to work, but she did not look for a job either. I just put my experiences on here for what its worth to show it is doable - it was not easy, but a truly wonderful family adventure in the end, and an MBA is the cherry on top.
