EMBA at LBS or HEC

Hi ! I’ve been recently admitted to 2 emba. One given by HEC (but not the trium) and the London Business school one.
It’s difficult to decide which one to do.
LBS seems to be more international than HEC (I've read some comments in others discussions) like its cohort is.
My objectives are to gain in international exposure and in starting a sector change after many (too many?) years in the same one by moving up into HQ board.

It’s difficult to rely only on alumni’s feed back as they are always claiming their choice is the best !

Does anybody can give me an objective feed back ?

Someone else was asking about the HEC EMBA, so try to search. It's a more local offer for a more entrepreneurial, less corporate, more junior cohort. LBS will be better for most people, which is why it gets ranked by the FT.

Hi Duncan. Many thanks for your reply. But are we talking about EMBA hec ? The cohort has in average around 38y and 15y expérience which seems a bit higher than lbs.
Are you aware about any big gaps concerning quality of courses / teachers, about any recruiters’ preference? What would be your advice for a sector change?

Sorry, by junior I don't mean younger. I mean less advanced in their career. It's nicely discussed on the thread I mentioned.

There are different recruiters with different preferences. The ranked programmes are the ones with the best outcomes for most students. For a sector change, find people who have moved into that sector and see the route they have taken. To change industry it may be better to take a very similar role but just In that different industry.

I agree that LBS is probably the best bet for most students. However, it would be good to know what sector you are interested in transitioning into, because this might change the calculus somewhat.
