For most people, yes. Pforzheim has some interesting auto industry links, but ESB is a better school.

And, of course, the region has a much more favourable labour market than Berlin, a much poorer city with a lot of foreign students.

Hi MBA in Germany, I would like to mention that Pforzheim has links to much more than just the auto industry. I'm a current MBA student in the International MBA program and have networked with a lot of the MBA alumni from our program who have moved into a variety of industries. You can do a quick search on LinkedIn to look at members that have graduated from HS Pforzheim and you will see MBA alumni working on AI projects for Bosch, Supply Chain management for DHL, lots of consultants & senior manager roles at large & boutique consulting firms. I am basing this from first-hand knowledge meeting previous alumni in our classroom. Even on rankings (depending which you look at) Pforzheim ranks higher than ESB in some cases. I am proud to be an MBA student at Pforzheim and have met way more people in German industry than I did at my university in Berlin or back in California. They really do a good job getting you to network in the German industry here. Another think to note is the rankings don't guarantee a salary.

Indeed, there are never any guarantees, but the reputable international rankings do include verified average salary data from alumni, which give a good indication of what potential grads can make. Many of the ranked institutions also post detailed career outcomes, including the average salary by industry, which is also a good guide.

Again, I don't appreciate your passive aggressive remarks, it is not conducive to the nature of this site. Trolling in the comments is not professional nor appreciated. I merely want to give my experience in this program and actually working in this region of Germany. Bosch may be a supplier of auto components, however, they provide many more products and services beyond this.
