FT Global Rankings 2016 Predictions

New FT Global MBA Rankings are going to be released on Monday. Any predictions?

What's really interesting to me is this little tidbit that the FT dropped this week:

"Six schools in the 2016 FT Global MBA ranking moved up by 15 places or more, with the top climber rising by 21 places."

I wonder who the climbers are...

AGSM, San Diego and CHUK could easily have moved down by 15 places. Maybe IIMB, Mendoza, Vlerick and ESMT could have moved up?

I could see some of the UK schools climbing, maybe not 15-20 places, though. I think that Notre Dame is due for a bump.

Maybe LBS will take the number one spot this year?

Because the FT rankings are in dollars, the biggest factor is how the currency moves. A year ago the pound was at $1.50, and now it's at $1.42, so that could drag UK salaries down 5%. The euro has not fallen as much, but it has fallen. So I think that is a comparative advantage for schools in Greater China and the US.

PS But I agree about Durham possibly rising.

My gut says Hult will rise in rankings. I look forward to see new entrants from around the globe.

Hult should be disappearing from the ft ranking forever since last year. Durham and Birmingham would be on a rise, I guess.

Hult dropped off after 2014.

Alberta is also gone this year - and the other Canadian schools also took hits (McGill down from 74 to 84,) Ivey down 11 spots too...

Some of the US schools that I thought were solid are now gone too: ASU, for example. Purdue is a shocker.
