I am a little bit puzzled by what is called top 10 MBA in selected categories published by Financial Times released together with the Global MBA ranking.
In 10 academic categories, FT picks out the best 10 global schools in that particular category: Finance, Accounting, Economic, General Management, Entrepreneurship.
But I could not find any other information regarding how FT compile these rankings.
Lets look at Top 10 schools in Finance. Top of the list is Chicago followed by Stern which make sense. But the third-best global Finance school is Tulane Uni Freeman.
The fifth is Rice Uni Jones. Iowa Tippie which is not a finance school in any means stand 6th. These stand above schools like Columbia or Pennsylvania.
I can also see Tulane break into 5th in Entrepreneurship.
SKK from Korea who is a new comer has fared pretty well in recent FT MBA ranking as I predicted 2 3 years back. And it is ranked 10th for Corporate Strategy.
