Different universities have different requirements and different start dates. Most schools will consider your GMAT score and, if you have a weak degree, then a strong GMAT will help. 5 years of work experience is generally fine for most MBA programs, although it depends on the quality of that work experience and your career trajectory.

Also important is your GMAT score. There is a huge range in the competitiveness levels of triple accredited schools. I mean, you could apply to Ashridge, where a 600 GMAT score would probably be relatively competitive, or you could look at IE or HEC Paris, where you're going to want something in the 690+ range.

I'm pretty sure Ashridge has closed its full-time track. There were only 2 or 3 people on it last year.

That's very unfortunate. It was still in the FT ranking 10/ 15 years ago and now, they could just close the programme. What happened to it?

Well, they were never really in the full-time MBA business very deeply. Executive education os what Ashridge is about and I guess the full-time MBA was a loss-leader to round it out. They got an amazing cohort but they just didn't have the scale needed to have careers services and strong placement. It was very similar to the Henley one-year executive MBA, which also closed. I think they both consumed a lot of resources and just didn't help. With the redesign a couple of years ago the full-time MBA more or less was the part-time MBA, but you'd take both years at once. Now Ashridge has merged with Hult, it makes sense to focus on part-time education more, like its new MBA for creative industries.
