It really depends on a number of factors. Did you have a specialist programme in mind? Is there an institution you're particularly interested in which offers that particular programme? And, ultimately, what outcome do you hope or expect having completed an MBA. There are some areas where having a specialist MBA might be an advantage. Equally, not having a specialist MBA need not be a disadvantage, and in some sectors might even be to your long-term benefit. If you've already got in mind a few institutions or programmes you're interested in, go to the relevant websites and see if you can find anything about where recent alumni ended up, what proportion of graduates are employed after graduation and what kind of work they ended up doing. And if no such information is readily available you can always contact schools directly.
