Hybrid Program Manchester Kelley or Fully Online MBA

Hello,

Thank you for taking the time to read my post.

I have posted in the past and have been reading many posts for a long time.

About me;

Mid 30's Spaniard working in an international operations department for a multinational firm.
Education; US accredited Bachelor degree 3.2 GPA. Top 10 Business school for International Business. (Master in Finance including few executive courses).
Goal: Transition to an strategic role within my own company.( Passionate about working with clients understanding their needs)

Research; I have been reading the different posts about the LinkedIn search as well as rankings. (Within the Spain area most people hold degrees from IE Business school or ISDI digital MBA) I understand the importance of rankings and return on investment. Also consider how borrowing money for a better program could payback in the long run.

I came to the conclusion that the Manchester-Kelley Global MBA could be a good program taking into account the distance learning combine with the residential networking opportunities.
On the other hand I noticed the good value that programs such as the Boston University Online MBA and the IMBA from UIUC delivers.

I would appreciated any feedback from alums or if there is any other program I should consider.

These are all good programmes. Do you mean IESE rather than ISDI?

Which schools are best represented in your own organization? And which schools have MBAs in your organization most commonly attended? I am curious that you have US options but work in Spain.

I hope you are well. Thank you for the response.
ISDI is an up and coming digital business school that is becoming very popular in Spain.

The schools best represented in my organisation are : globally for MBA holders are ; Kellogg, New York and Boston University. Within Spain are IE and ESADE.

I am based in Spain for family reasons. Since I also have family in the US I was considering a program that would give me an edge in both Europe and the US. (Also the reason not to consider programs in Spain is because I want to bring something different to the table and open my(My current employer as well) network.

That makes BU sound interesting. I guess the Northwestern-WHU MBA and Northwestern-IE LLM are not appealing to you?

You are right the BU sounds very interesting (Besides the Covid-19 situation) the program would be perfect including one residential opportunity.
Northwestern-IE sounds interesting but I am not sure if it would be the right fit , since I am not a lawyer. (The other Northwestern option that I was exploring was Israel, but it is very difficult to make it to all residential sessions).

Everyone need to know about law, I guess? The Tel Aviv degree is cheaper than WHU? Maybe makes it more affordable. Plus, sunshine and new networks.

Hi,

You are right. The point of view from law educated person is a great combination in any team.
The Tel Aviv program is slightly more affordable in terms of program pricing, however you have to take into account flying + accommodation for residential weekends. ( From my point of view is one of the best programs out there... too bad it is not possible for me to access it at the moment because of budget + days needed to be present in Tel Aviv.)
