MBA Full Form

Everywhere I look it seems that the full form of MBA is Master of Business Administration.

However a college near to me is offering an MBA with a full form of Major in Business Administration.

It is one year long. Can somebody please advise if a Major of Business Administration is considered the same as an MBA? Especially in the UK and Germany.

A major is two-semester series of undergraduate courses. It is not a degree.

The "full form" of MBA is indeed Master of Business Administration. It's a graduate-level program, done after a bachelor's and typically a certain amount of work experience, and leads to a degree. It's usually two years long in the US and one year long elsewhere, although there are exceptions.

If you're looking at a major as part of an undergraduate program, this most certainly not be considered an MBA by, well, anybody. If that's the case and they're calling it an MBA, then it's a bit misleading honestly.
