MBA program for a man with a fmaily

Dears;

I am a 37 years old business man, and I want a one year MBA program, my plan is to have a one year with nothing to worry about other than studying, and giving the family a time out in a foreign country with new culture, Malaysia for example, so it is a mixture between family long vacation, and getting an MBA.

I am interested to have an MBA in a good ranking business school, meanwhile in a country where the cost of living is not very high , even I have a good budget for the MBA

the target for this MBA is supporting my entrepreneur career, and meanwhile having a solid credentials in the case of me wanting to go back to the job market.

your feedback and advice is highly appreciated

How about the University of Nottingham campus in Malaysia, UC3M in Madrid, NTU in Taipei, INCAE in Costa Rica, CEU in Hungary, AIM in Manila? I think INCAE and AIM would be especially interesting for entrepreneurs.

Great suggestions from Duncan, although a place like Madrid doesn't exactly feature low cost of living as a draw.

There are also some AACSB-accredited MBA programs in Thailand which are relatively inexpensive... NIDA for example. Sasin is a great school but a bit on the high side in terms of cost.

One thing to know before embarking on this, though: a credential is one thing, but most of the value in doing an MBA is not the actual degree but the ability to tap into a school's networks and career resources for post-graduation job opportunities. For most of these schools in countries with low costs of living, these networks will be mostly local, and will not have much reach elsewhere.
