MBA program suggestion

Hello all,

I have completed 2 years experience in IT,but not in a managerial role,in a developer role. I would like to take MBA course . But I am confused how to proceed.Should I take up GMAT an IELTS both. I would prefer the top university with less cost. Or as a developer I cannot apply for MBA?

Goals? Regarding my present job or my ultimate goals?I am a programmer and a trouble shooter as of now. But I have taken managerial role when having 1 year experience(Kanban Master in Agile Methodology,but that was offline)
I am much interested in the Management side of the career . So would like to do MBA. And could you please give me the rating in increasing order for the cost of MBA in US,UK and India.

Costs are set by schools, not by countries. Generally India is cheaper than the UK, and the US is more expensive. You guess that already.

Which country do you want to work in? What sort of manager do you want to be.

I would prefer to work in UK and based on my personal obligations may have to work in US . I would like to opt for HR side of managing.

That's a tricky transition. If you are not already working in the UK or US, employers might not think you have the soft skills and cross-cultural skills for HR work. Maybe IT for HR would be a good way to make a transition.

With only 2 years of work experience, you'd be a hard sell at most accredited MBA programs. Why not consider a Master in Management program instead? LBS, Cass, Warwick come to mind for the UK. In the US, maybe check out Duke, Sloan, Boston University...
