Just to complete the frame, I'm 34, in the meantime I scored 690 at GMAT and I got ammission at IE (starting in April) and Rotterdam (dual degree in Finance starting in January).
I studied mechanical engineering.
I have working experience in Belgium (Flemish speaking part) on operations and thus some knowledge of Dutch language.
I would like to shift to project management and I don't mind travelling, but I would like if possible to keep my home location in Italy, where I'm currently working.
Which is your advice between the two I was admitted and your advise in general to choose a good MBA to satisfy my expectations(also based on my background and results)?

I'm not sure it would be practically possible to do the RSM MBA while you're in Italy, so that eliminates that one, no? The IE program is solid, my vote is with this one.

More generally, I think that if the choice is between a highly-ranked MBA program and a master's degree in project management, I'd go with the former, unless the projects you will be managing are highly complex or technical.

Your profile well qualify yourself for project management role. You may already know of the Project Management certificate where you can earn in about 3 months and costs you as little as 5 thousand euro. This is the de facto cert in project management so no general MBA can match the technical rigor.

Otherwise i believe that a master degree in engineering management in blended part-time mode from a top tier engineering school is much more relevant.

I would suggest you do a certificate in project management first this means you will go through 2 couple of training courses very intensive ones for people who are ready to make the next step rather than sitting in class room with marketing or finance people having got no clue how a machine operate.

Later on go for an executive master in a prestigious school with strong orientation towards engineering. Look for the proper engineering management components.

I see few offer the programs such as Cambridge, a host of Portugal schools with cooperation with Carnegie Mellon Uni or technical university in Italy or Switzerland.
