One-Year Or Accelrated MBA Programs

Hi Friends,

Please suggest me some 2nd tier schools for One year/Accelrated MBA. I am Mostly looking in California , as I feel will easy for Job Networking Post MBA. My Budget is max 50K .

Brief History about My Self

I am IT working Professional in India and having 12 years Work Exp.I am not looking for career change. so my Expectation Post MBA is to Join Startup or Bay Area IT Companies. so Please Suggest MBA Schools ,which will be better for me. I am mostly looking for State Schools only ,as cost will be reasonable.My Gmat score is 540 {Quant 48 and Verbal 17}
Some of my shorlisted Schools and programs are
1) SJSU One-Mba
2) CSU EastBay One year Mba
3) CSU Sacromento ,EMBA (15 Months)
4) Fullert MBA

One question, Post One Year MBA, Whether Companies will be sponsoring for H1B under Advance Cap Quota ?

You should reach out to these business schools and ask them how reliable these programs are for international students who want to stay and work post-graduation. As far as I know, most of these are flexible, evening-style MBA programs, which tend to work mainly for local working professionals, who don't have the same kind of post-graduation support as international students have. I am not even sure that you'd be eligible for study visas with some of these programs - have you researched that?

A much better option if you do want to stay in the area would be a dedicated cohort-type, full-time program - I guess that Haas and Stanford are probably out of your range, but perhaps with a little GMAT tutoring you could consider the UC Davis program?

a) Whether MBA degree is eligible for H1b Filing under Master Cap
b) Any MBA programs with OPT extension under STEM designated ?

Or ask the career services departments at the business schools that you are considering - they probably deal with these kind of questions all the time.
