Oxford vs IE MBA

I am in Indian with 12+ years of mfg/supply chain experience in 6 different countries. I have a GMAT score of 740(Q50, V40), and now got admission offers from Cranfield, IE, and Oxford. My first preference is IMD. However, my interview is scheduled in May, and I don't expect a result before the end of May.

I am planning to accept one of the existing offers to be on a safe side, and thinking about IE. Is it a good decision ? .

My short term goal is to advance to a senior leadership position in an a Mfg company and long term plan involves some entrepreneur activities!

Can you do better? Sloan Fellows at LBS?

Very hard to turn down Oxford unless you are focussed on the Spanish speaking world, regardless of IE's cosy network. IMD is certainly the best school for you.

I will check out Fellow at LBS

I am getting enticed by the rankings of IE. I have also spoken to few current students in both the schools. Oxford students are not very positive about a job after MBA, and that's why I am thinking about IE.

I got a very good scholarship from Cranfield and the cost difference between Oxford and Cranfield would be around S$80K (Singapore Dollar) that's also putting me in a dilemma

80 k SGD is a very small amount compared to the added value of Oxford MBA. Step in the campus and smell the atmosphere and you feel what Oxbridge is about.

Though Cranfield is entirely superb, I just do not have the same feeling anywhere else when I study at Oxford. I was there only on executive courses but the colleges and learning atmosphere are always very lively

Make sure you meet students and seem them learning.

Sadly the express bus from there to Cambridge no longer stops at Cranfield. Worth visiting both for comparison, even so?

Please do Oxford and Cambridge has some semi-mythical appeal about it, either that or just me

I have accepted Oxford and quite happy with it :-) . However, I will still go for IMD assessment day.
Having spent so much time and energy during the application process, I feel I should get a feeling of the whole assessment day.
