Please find below details of my educational qualifications and work experience. It will be really helpful if you can suggest colleges in US suiting my profile

12th Std: 59.5%
Graduation: B.Com:45%
DIstance Learning: PGDBA 59.6%
GMAT Score: 580
Total Work Exp: 7 Years 6 Months
Industry: Insurance , Banking
Role: Currently with Standard Chartered Bank as Relationship Manager for the past 3yrs
Past Employers: ICICI Prudential LIC, Citifinancial Consumer Finance Ltd,Fullerton India, HDFC Bank
Preferred Destination for MBA: USA

It would be great if you could suggest some suitable colleges from Financial Times top 100 rankings

You are not a highly competitive candidate for top 100 programmes because of your undergraduate and GMAT results. Take a look at Shortcut to find the best US MBA www.find-mba.com/board/36065

Maybe look at the lowest tier at GMAT Tiers - strong schools for your GMAT www.find-mba.com/board/27082 for a stretch school.

To further expand on what Duncan has said - a GMAT score is an indicator of a couple of things for admissions committees. Of course, they can see your English skills and your ability to think quantitatively, but for students with low undergraduate GPAs, it can also serve as a proxy for much you have grown since your earlier studies. In short, a higher-than-average GMAT score can often alleviate fears that a student with a low GPA will not excel in MBA.

So, you're going to want to look at schools where your GMAT score is higher than the average for incoming cohorts. The US schools at the very bottom of the FT rankings -- South Carolina Moore, Wisconsin, William and Mary -- all have average GMAT scores of over 620.

To be competitive at these schools, you're going to need a healthy boost for your GMAT score - try to add 100 points and you'll have some decent options.

Otherwise, maybe look into Hult.
