But I can earn double here in my own business in egypt

I was preparing my self to apply for Msc in management in the university of cass

but now I think it will not be logic!!

I will pay much money but outcome after graduation will not be as I was thinking! !

Actually to be honest the reason why I want to study abroad and planning to find a work after graduation in uk or in any other European country is the bad political situation in my country but to be honest I earn good money here

I have 6 years experience

I graduated from faculty of engineering and I established my own company in 2008 in cairo (sealing car spare parts) then I established another company in Tanzania in 2011 (sealing food products) both of the two companies are small but I earned good money actually .and I think I have very good experience in a lot of things

By the way my basic major is communication egineering ( I was the 7th out of 150 students in my department ) also I have CCNA and I got it in the final year of graduation

and last thing I graduated in 2005

So now any advise? ?

Also this will lead me to ask another big and basic question :

Is it better to have ur own business (start up ) even if it small or medium than working in big firms??

What do think the advantages and disadvantages???

In FT ranking for Msc in management ,for example the average salary for Strathclyde's students after graduation is 41790 $ that means per month only 3500$,is it right???

Because if so ,I think it's nothing comparing with cost of tution fee plus cost of living for international students ..

Am I right? ?? Or there is a misunderstanding here???

I want any one give me any logical reasons to spend this amount of money to take a master in management or even MBA to get that poor salary!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, I think you are missing somethings. $44,000 is much higher than the average salary these people would have without an MSc. Remember that most of them come from south and east Asia. They pay the tuition fee only in one year, but get higher salaries every year for the rest of their life. Over the course of a life, that adds up to a much larger number than the cost of one year in an MSc.

So that means that this avarage salaries in FT ranking calculated as:

That's $3482 a month: well above the average PPP salary in Europe, and of course most MBM students come from the developing world. The average in India, where most MBM students come from, is $454 a month. They are increasing their salary.

You have too much work experience to be admitted to an MSc in management. You would be an interesting candidate for an MBA degree, but I don't know what your career goals are. I have no advice for you.

Actually my question is: Do u think that it's easy for me to get a managerial role in any multinational company ??? This is because I have no experience about their requirements Of employees? ?

By another way, do u think that my experience will satisfy them???

If you can get into a top school, then I think your experience combined with a MBA from a top school will make you very attractive to the multinational firms that hire from those programmes.

What do u think is the best business school to get Msc in management (I know u prefer MBA for me but plz be with me in that choice as assumption ) ,if I have four choices cass ,Strathclyde, bath and Lancaster

You don't have the choice between those four schools. They will not admit a candidate with as much work experience as you.

what about Msc in" international management" or sometimes they called "international business" , do u think this also need no work experience?? what is the difference between it and master in management??if i apply for that master in one of the top schools,what do u think?? also are the multinational firms usually recruit graduates from such program???
