as i can't afford MBA's tuition fees from one of the best schools plus cost of living

i already applied for Msc in marketing in the following schools:
-cass
-strathclyde
-lancaster
-bath

could u rank these schools for me according to their marketing department's power?
also what about job opportunities for students graduated from Msc in marketing comparing with those graduated from Msc in management (and according to my profile)?

I think the realities of the labour market are more or less the same. I don't see any prospects of a major change in the objective situation. However, outcomes are improving because schools and students are working better together. Because large businesses are limited by quotas of how many people they can hire, traditional 'milkround' techniques are not so effective at placing non-EU MBAs into roles. They need to hunt for work in the same way as European professionals now: by proactive approaches, networking, pitching in projects and consulting opportunities and generally using more personalised ways of approaching employers with win-win solutions. That is producing improved outcomes. I think Oxford, Cambridge, Warwick, Durham and Edinburgh are doing well and, if the recent FT MiM ranking is a guide, it looks like Strathclyde and Bradford are struggling. I think the shift is especially difficult for students from India, where placement works so very differently, and where it's so hard to strike the balance right between being too retiring and being too forceful when networking.

4 days ago, I was talking with a friend from India in Facebook ,he told me that Indians believe that the change in immigration rules in uk was made specially for Indians !!!@@

He said that it is known that these restrictions for all international students ,but it really directed to Indians! !!!

Hi, I have just gone through the entire discussion you have had with Duncan and I certainly agree with Duncan that doing an MBA would have been a better option for you. But I do understand your financial constraints. As far as MSc in Marketing is concerned I believe Strathclyde has strong industrial links and alumni network in the sector. I would recommend the MBM over the MSc in marketing because you don't have a degree in business already. The MBM has an useful MBA pathway, and is more flexible. You could take electives in marketing and do a marketing project at the end of the programme.

i already sent the deposit for strathclyde business school for Msc in business and management but i have a question: now i am 32 years old and after finishing the course i will be 33 , i know that MBA is familiar for candidates with that age ,so i am wondering is to graduate from msc in business and management with 33 years old can affect my opportunities to work in big firms(i want u to answer this question from the employers side) or the master with my experience will be appreciated from them???or may be this will affect my expected salary after graduation only???

Yes, I think it's reasonable to assume that your salary will be closer to that of other MSc students than to that of MBA students.

by the way ,

for the employment field in FT ranking , which number refer to the percentage of students were in employment three months after graduation ??? the outside number or the inside one???i am so confused !!!!
