Hello,
I am currently studying Chiropractic in Australia and been half way through but have a major life decision making moment now. Quite frankly I have been always into any kinds of business from retail to banking although my background is not in business. While keep studying Science degree, have not been really happy with what I have been doing now. At this moment my girl friend suggested me to do MBA program in the States. Thanks to her connection, without any putting efforts (I did not even do any research), I have a great chance to take TA position from University of Nevada, Reno.
However, my head is not still clear thinking of doing MBA in the States because am not sure
1) if UNR is a great school offering good programme for MBA compared to other schools
2) if TA positions are readily commonly available among many different B-schools
3) if non-US citizen can ACTUALLY stand a chance to find a job and live in the States
4) if out of 100 top rank B-schools are not even considered good education background in US
I do understand that some of questions above are really dependent on an individual case but wish people have a practical and realistic advice or guidance so that I can decide whats the best option for me to pursue.
