You gotta look into the weeds to see if that's the program you want or not.
E.g - with most 2 year MBA programs, 1st year is mostly going to be General Management. You'll be able to take electives during 2nd year of your MBA. Now let's say you get xx Hours of Marketing education.
Now compare that with most 1 year MBA programs, where you get limited number of electives, say you get yy hours of Marketing education out of them.
Compare xx and yy. And this is purely volume here. Another approach can be qualitative, suppose you want to learn more about Digital Marketing or SEO, maybe a specialized course (not an MBA) or perhaps an elective in 1 year MBA program is more suited since they offer SEO.
I don't know if you are a Canadian citizen or not. Rotman will be expensive either ways. McGill have a good alumni base - I am sure not every graduate works in Montreal, and some do migrate in Toronto.
My personal preference would be (in order left to right)
2 year MBA: McGill, Schulich, Rotman, John Molson / UBC,
1 year MBA: Ivey, Queens, HEC Montreal
I'd personally not look into Ottawa/Alberta/Calgary - but that's me. I am not sure if you do really need an full time MBA. perhaps some specialized courses / seminars in your target area?
