Hi,
I have recently been admitted to both of these schools : University of San Diego (MBA International Management Track) and University of Texas at Dallas (MBA Full-Time). I have tried looking for a post dedicated to University of San Diego but to no avail. To my understanding, U of San Diego is not ranked in US News but it's ranked at 59 in FT Global MBA while U of Texas is ranked at 37 in US News. Both are located in areas where Tech Companies are in abundance and in-fact I am looking to get into IT-Consulting after MBA.
I am an international student and intend to work in US after MBA (if possible) and I am under this impression that pursuing MS/MBA from U of Texas would make me more employable to the Clients as opposed to a single degree from U of San Diego (taking into the account the 1 year OPT). I am confused, though, if these are the only points I should be considering.
I have been offered scholarships from both the schools and I expect that the expenses would be more or less the same.
My profile : 4 years of Work Ex in IT and Healthcare Sector.
Indian Citizen,
GMAT - 720.
I would be so glad if anyone could shed a few lights on these schools. What's your take?
