UCAM Spain & Westford College UAE, partnership MBA

Dear All,

I am a Project Manager and need to do an online MBA do to the nature of my job. A friend of mine suggested that I should go for UCAM Spain & Westford College UAE partnership MBA program. I did a little research and I discovered that UCAM Spain does not have any of the triple accreditation for MBA. Again, UCAM Spain does not have MBA Project management online on their website.
Stil on this my friend told me that UCAM will issue the certificate upon completion but the studies will be delivered by professors at Westfield University College, UAE.
My questions are :
1. Can a school issue a certificate of a course that is done in the school? And what happens if my employers decided to check the UCAM website and saw that MBA Project management is not offered there.
2. The school UCAM does not have any of the triple accreditation for MBA, is it good to study in such an institution since recognition internationally might not be there.
3. What happens if in 10 years to come both schools are no longer in the partnership?
Please I need your advice if to proceed with the admission or search for another school. My range of tuition is $7000- $8000 and 1 year.

It's an terrible idea to take an MBA that has no meaningful accrediation.

I seem to remember there wassome scandal with UCAM not controlling the international franchising of its degrees. I think there was a Italian scandal, for example, where new professional regulations required lawyers to have a academic degree as well as a jurist qualification, and UCAM had awarded a majority of the law degrees issues to these Italian lawyers who needed to maintain their status despite, obviously, being in Spain rather than Italy.

Wow, the UCAM law degrees were awarded to 37% of those Italian lawyers who claimed recognition on the basis of a foreign law degree. It was assessed in a half-hour test with 20 questions.

I would suggest refining your career goals. Moreover though, your budget is extremely low for an MBA program (even that Amity MBA is above your budget.)
Do you actually need a 'degree?' If you can't work on your budget, I would suggest just doing some free online courses (through Coursera, etc.), or targeted short executive programs if you really need to work on your project management skills.

UCAM is a great university. It is recognized globally. At a cost of USD6500 managed to complete my MBA specializing in Accounting & Finance, the learning experience was incredible (with online classes) made good acquaintances with other students from all over the world. Graduation ceremony for the 2022 class was fantastic.

Speaking from personal experience if you are not willing to take the program for the price they will talk about booking the spot for a few which will never be available again. Fast forward few months later they would have offered the same fees to those who came after you. This is all a trick to sell their product money is their only concern. Not just them but the school's under them as well(the Cambridge Qualifications is their own subsidiary, Westford is not based in uk if you visit Sharjah you can walk in yourself)
