Depending on your work experience, Rutgers or Michigan - Broad might be good bets: both have concentrations in supply chain management, and are well-ranked in this regard.

Thank you both for the excellent feedback. The Broad supply chain program looks really interesting, especially the classes in technology and sustainability. Definitely interested in this program.

Sounds like a plan. I'd also advise choosing a school based on the actual industry you'd want to work in: Broad and Smeal place a lot of students into fields like manufacturing and consumer products - where there's lots of growth potential in supply chain roles - whereas a school like ASU Carey would have more reach in the tech industry.

Hey quick question. Is UT Knoxville a good business school for supply chain management? I am originally from Tennessee and would be considered a resident in terms of tuition. Seems like a pretty good value, but how is the MBA program's reputation?

Indeed, supply chain is one of UT's stronger focus areas. Lots of students do internships in supply chain roles, it offers a supply chain concentration, etc.

And almost half of the class of 2012 went into supply chain roles. That's something. But grads from the more highly-ranked schools that are strong in supply chain: Sloan, Broad, Smeal, for instance, probably get higher salaries though.

I would imagine so, but you can check directly with the schools to see what kind of placements they have in Tennessee. My guess would be that Knoxville is a good place, in this sense.
