GMAT-660

GMAT Score:660 (1st try)
Work Experience: 2 years.
Description of work - I have been working in a company started by my father. And since he had to leave India for a consulting work of 2 years, I have been handling his position for the past 1 and a half years. My work is mainly to look after after the logistics, product pricing and marketing of the product we sell.
Graduation : Bachelors of Science - Economics Honours with Statistics and Mathematics as supplementary subjects.

So, I would like to know about good MBA programs in the US or in Singapore with the above mentioned gmat score and educational and work background.

I was really looking forward for Chicago Booth in US and SMU in Singapore. But I guess it will be too hard to get in these schools with my gmat score.
Also would like views on UCLA Anderson.
Any other suggestion(s) will be really helpful.
Please Note: My grad scores are on the weaker side.

Thank You for the link. It was helpful in getting a clearer picture. But, I would like t diversify my choices. For example, I would like to apply to 2 b-schools where networking can be done the best and to 2 b-schools where the placement percentage post-mba is above average for students from India.

Use the FT Ranking score called international mobility - the same ranking answers your other points too other than the requirements which are on the website

I have gone through the FT list and narrowed my search to some universities. For example, I found the program of University of Virginia attractive. Solely due to their ranking in the ''Placement Sucess'' category. But on reading the FAQs wrt to this college, I found out that the 20%−80% range is 560−720,but the average is mentioned as ''Above 650''.
I would really like your opinion on my chances of getting through this college. Or do you suggest I build up a little more on my CV(like enrolling into some NGO voluntary work) and also maybe give the gmat again and try and get a score of say 680?

You will need more work experience as well as a higher GMAT. Look at the averages.

You can easily see what the profile is for Insead: a GMAT over 700 plus five years excellent work experience in the developed world in B2B consulting, finance, VC or ICT.

A good profile would be one that's better than the average. Very good would would mean you have your work experience in one of their key partners (McKinsey, Google, BCG, Bain and Bain).
