That's probably because LSE does not offer a regular MBA. I agree Manchester, Imperial and Cass should be ranked higher considering their reputation.

Lancaster ranked 15??? This contradicts with other rankings big time. Lancaster is ranked in the top 5 business schools since years and should be higher ranked along Cass and Imperial. This year lancaster MBA was ranked 16th worldwide by Forbes, and 27th by FT above Warwick, Manchester, Cranfield and Cass. An MBA gives a big indication to the quality of the school. Thus, this ranking is very ridiculous honestly.

Thats right...Henley is good but not that good...

Talking about Henley - the recent ranking might be a reflection of the schools merger with the University of Reading. This is surely adding a lot to their research strengths, which, afaik, is the primary point of consideration for these rankings. It has also been placed at a global 21st by EIU.
I looked into the henley website and they seem to have whipped up their fees as well....a whooping 33,000 GBP.
Does anyone have a first hand experience with this school?
I like their course content and other offerings but not very sure about its reputation amongst recruiters and whether it's really worth all that money.

I dont have first hand experience on Henley/Reading but from what I have heard, Henley is a good school for EMBA, Executive programs and for professional qualification studies ...its research calibre is quite good...but as far as MBA and Masters degrees are concerned, Henley is not generally a top choice on the mind of prospective students...donno why is this but this is the take on Henley in the UK...plz find out more you r interested...sometimes it happens that what you hear in media is not entirely true...

Rankings should not be the only criteria for judging a school. Rankings are usually based on surveys done on Alumni who graduated 2-5 years ago and is not a true reflection of the school's quality.

You should study the school well, talk to the students in the school and do a self-reflection on your goals to determine the right place for you

I couldn't agree with this more. Talk to current students. The schools' admissions people will usually help you get in touch with them. But also be sure to ask students about the downsides, too!
