Best UK/Euro Mba for UK citizen with Asia experience?

Hi - this is my first post, so please forgive if any no-no's...

I'm a UK citizen with all my work experience in Asia. I speak several Asian languages, and am now looking at applying for an Mba to spark a career industry change.

Schools i've looked at are Insead, and the HK schools. But i am also trying to work out which UK schools would be the best to utilize this type of work experience, and where UK / Europeans companies looking for these skills (business in Asia) would be recruiting from..?

Any advice much appreciated.

If you want to change industry, then look for a longer programme with an internship. If you want to stay in Asia, then study in Asia, not the UK. Otherwise the top UK schools are the most global. Look at the FT ranking.

Hi All & Duncan

- i've gone away based on the advice given in reply to my last post, done my GMAT and applied to schools in the UK & France. I'm now working out my final decision with offers from HEC, Manchester & Cranfield.

I'm looking for a global industry / consulting position post MBA - ideally would be rotating expat postings. I'm coming from a background of manufacturing / general mgt. Another factor of concern for me in course choice is my age - as i'm nearing mid 30's (but still looking and feeling youthful!)

I'm doing my own due diligence on the programs and have read a lot of program comparison opinions here, but appreciate any comments or advice you may have on the course programs and strengths, and the careers they funnel into.

Are you prioritising industry? Or consulting? If consulting, what sort of firms are you looking at?
