Durham MBA: 2012/2013 FT MBA Admits

Hi everyone,

I just received and acceptance for FT Durham MBA for September 2012.

Is there anyone else that has accepted their offers to start the Durham MBA this coming September?

I thought this would be a good way to connect, and meet in person once our studies commence.

Congratulations on gaining acceptance !

I have applied for MBA at Durham myself . I met them at an MBA fair in Dubai and felt they were quite good. They do not require a GMAT but they have their own philosophy to back it up i guess. The Alumni who travelled for recruiting purpose looked like a bright one

I haven't received any confirmation/rejection from them .... Awaiting results :)

I also have offers from Henley, Leeds, Aston .

can anyone help me on deciding ?

I want to pursue my career in business consulting and strategy management .
I heard that Durham is know for finance . is it true ?

Please advise ...

Henley Business School is one of the best from what i hear from a consultancy perspective.

Durham has a few things which i liked at the time of application : Boardroom activity and 3rd term business project.

Leeds is a good university..though its business school is not in top 100 worldwide..

Aston & Durham are top 100 with the required accreditation..

thanks for your reply .

Is the business project same as internship ? Paid Internship ?
as far as i know, all b schools will have a business project towards the end of the curriculum . is durham business project is different from others ?

Its not confirmed that every student gets the company based live projects. Most of the good universities do offer this kind of opportunities to students but they do not 100% assure. It will be subjected the client choice and your past experience.
