Hi All,
I've been given funding from my employer to support study for a part time/executive MBA for the next intake.
I have 6 years work experience, 3 as a senior manager, in healthcare finance. I am also CIMA qualified. I have experience of managing budgets of c.£60m, producing business cases for £10m+ capital investment and leading on major change projects. My motivation in studying for an MBA is that I want to gain broader management skills outside of finance (I did my undergrad in finance too).
I have yet to take the GMAT, but its on my list of things to do in the next month or two.
My question is whether I would be likely to be accepted into one of the top UK schools (LBS, Cambridge, Warwick or Cranfield) or if its better to concentrate one of the good but not top schools (Imperial, Manchester, Lancaster or Durham)?
I live in London, but a commute to any of the schools mentioned wouldn't be a problem.
Any advice?
Thanks in advance
