London Business School & Marketing?

Hoping someone could give me a hand here. I'm particularly interested in studying in this school for several reasons, but marketing would be what I'd like to go into and I'm not entirely sold by the compatibility of this. Their employment stats seem to be a bit lacking as well so I couldn't get much of an insight there. Any suggestions will be welcome!

As a side note, would studying in the UK open doors for the Irish market as well? Do they tend to be similar job markets and industries? Post Brexit it can be a bit hard to judge.

As a rule of thumb, I think marketing roles are too junior for LBS MBAs. I say this as an LBS MBA working in marketing. The average LBS MBA is earning more in their first week than a marketing account director after 20 years.

Use LinkedIn to research the sort of roles you want to get and see what qualifications those people hold. A CIM-accredited MSc in marketing might be a better choice.

In terms of those MBAs who are in UK marketing roles, they are at the very top tech firms like Amazon, Google, Tiktok and Salesforce, and they are more than anywhere else from LBS, with Insead and Cambridge also viable.

Much appreciated Duncan. Looking into specific roles makes sense as a way of fishing out the relevant info. I'll give that a go and see what it looks like from there.
