Management MSc - Loughborough, Brunel, QMUL or elsewhere?

I'm a graduate in engineering (2:2) with 4 years work experience in manufacturing. For a number of reasons I don't wish to apply to study an MBA and I'm in the process of applying for an MSc, with offers from Loughborough (London campus) and Brunel.

I need to stay in London so my options are limited to there alone.

My questions is: Which University would enhance my career prospects the most, and allow me the most freedom to move sectors, should I choose to do so? One answer might be: Study an MBA, but I am unwilling to commit financially to everything that entails.

I'm currently leaning towards Loughborough as it stands, but I'm open to arguments for other Universities.

Did you consider looking at the rankings published by the FT on Monday? If Brunel is an option, I would consider Henley too, and better schools.

In all honesty I hadn't seen the latest rankings, I will have a scout and see if it affects my thinking.

Henley would definitely be a better school but it hasn't been somewhere I have considered. I will investigate that, certainly.

I was considering applying to both Cass and Imperial, but I'm unsure how they would view me considering their MSc is aimed at very recent graduates,

Well, there is a wide range of degrees at each school. You will be a stronger candidate for a specialised, functional MSc than a general management MiM. My point is just that should should aim for great schools.
