What are your career goals? Why Scotland?

Those are both fine schools, since they're accredited by AMBA (University of Glasgow has AACSB accreditation as well.) RGU has been a good solution for students looking for a career in oil and gas, since they have some relevant curriculum and a specialization.

There are only a couple of other MBA programs that would be worth looking at in Scotland. One is the University of Edinburgh, and the other is the University of Strathclyde.

Why Scotland? I'm from Scotland and am looking to return after studying / working abroad (in England and Asia Pacific). So partly for personal reasons but also to build-up ties and a network.

Career goals? Mid-term is a change in career direction (to move into pharmaceutical marketing with an MNC) and long-term is to set up a healthcare communications agency.

Firstly a quick disclosure: I work for Association of MBAs (AMBA).

As mentioned above, both University of Glasgow Business School and Aberdeen Business School at Robert Gordon University are AMBA accredited. To expand on that briefly: accreditation is essentially about quality control to make sure that a programme or institution meets a certain set of criteria. AMBA accreditation represents the highest standard of achievement in postgraduate business education.
