MSc Management related programs - International Student needs help

Hi Everyone,

Could you please advise me on which universities I should apply to?

I’m from India.

Following my undergraduate program, I gained 4+ years of full-time work experience in my family business in Dubai, UAE.

Took part in operations, decision making, and so on. Also Managed couple of projects (we have a facilities management and interior works business).

UG: Bachelor of Science in International Business

GPA: 3.68

I would like to apply to some reputable UK universities for MSc Management programs that specialize in Operations, Strategic Management, or Project Management.

I want to work in the UK after finishing my studies in similar fields. However, I have a limited budget.

My home business is not doing well, so I won't be able to spend much money on school. I intend to look into courses with international fees under 15,000 pounds. Could someone please provide some feedback?

You will not be able to attend a highly reputable university in the UK with that budget.

University College Birmingham (UCB) offers University of Warwick MSc degrees in various business-related fields at £14,500. However, I don't know if a Warwick degree done through UCB would offer the same job opportunities as an equivalent degree done through Warwick's campus. Perhaps the experts on this board might know more about the utility of such a degree.

University College Birmingham (UCB) offers University of Warwick MSc degrees in various business-related fields at £14,500. However, I don't know if a Warwick degree done through UCB would offer the same job opportunities as an equivalent degree done through Warwick's campus. Thats a good one. But, looking at Google, I’m afraid the reviews on University college Birmingham isn’t that good. Can someone please give an insight about the Warwick degree offered through UCB.

"Access the broad employer networks of both universities, supporting and helping students achieve strong employability outcomes". I don't know if that's just marketing mumbo-jumbo but perhaps there's a tangible benefit there. Also, I understand you become an alumnus of the University of Warwick and able to access their alumni network.

Thank you Kennedy for this insight. But, wondering if the degree or transcripts has any mentioning about UCB or just Warwick alone. however, UCB is a new school and the reviews or ranking isn’t that good at all.

It's a new degree partnership so there will be a lot of unknowns because there aren't any graduates yet.

I agree with StuartHE though. There is no proven respectable program that also meets your budget. You have to be realistic. All of your remaining options are second or third-best options.

If I were you I would consider using loans to supplement your savings so you can go to a strong program with a proven pipeline to top employers.

UCB had had the same partnership with Birmingham. I would expect the degree to say Warwick and the transcripts to be held at UCB. Certainly you would have access to the Warwick alumni network but... obviously people on campus at Warwick get getter options.

If I had 15k and good qualifications I would not come to the UK. I would pick a European country with a strong economy, cheap degrees and low unemployment.
