If placement is your key need then I would not consider WMG: search the board to read more about it. It's a lean academic offer with a puffet of courses aimed at part-time students. 

Otherwise, take a look at  https://www.best-masters.com/ranking-master-in-united-kingdom/master-supply-chain-and-logistics.html and look for degrees inside well-resourced business schools (ideally, those in the FT MiM ranking). Those will have better career services. For example, Imperial, Manchester and Cranfield have top business schools with SCM degrees.

I found that WMG has a very intensive course but also good industrial connects, so I thought that would be a beneficial point for prospects after graduation. Are you saying that is not the case?

Also, I've read Nottingham has a good careers team. So would that be a good option to consider? At least until I hear from Manchester.

Exactly right: because it's aimed at part-time domestic students who already have jobs, WMG doesn't have a careers team. I don't believe that the University of Nottingham Business School has a better careers team than the comparable schools in the FT MiM ranking. I think there are just two careers advisors across the MBA, PhD and all the MSc programmes: Teresa looks after employer relations and Clare runs CV clinics and advises students. I think they also support alumni. So, ther's a small amount of resources compared to similarly sized schools.

Nottingham is not in the FT MiM 100 you suggested however, I considered it so far since it has a good ranking in other guide tables. Is it at least good with respect to the value of an MSc from the UoN Business School? Or should I not consider it altogether? 

Other rankings will focus on undergraduate experience. You are interested mostly in placement after a MSc from a business school. The MiM ranking is the best guide for you.
