Dear friends,
can anyone suggest whether doing MBA in one of the following universities is good for job prospects and which one you suggest. I have M.Sc in s/w engg degree and 2 yrs exp in IT filed as s/w engineer and my career aspiration is to work for 2 or 3 yrs after MBA and to get along into business..

Sheffield
Southampton
Exeter
Newcastle

all my research reveals that these univs are not in Tier1 list. But my understanding is that these are atleast good enough in tier2 level. kindly leave ur valuable comments and guidance.

Did you go into any of this University....I am in same sort of Situation as yours....and have same options in fron of me...let me know which is th best.......

Sheffield is a original red-brick uni and among your list, its the best one to choose.

Hi,
I have also got an admission from Uni. of Sheffield, Uni. of Surrey and Uni. of Leicester..
Still waiting for Bath, Bradford, Royal Holloway...
So far Uni. of Sheffield is the best from what I have. . .

I have received an unconditional offer from Univ of Sheffield (MBA). I am a Senior systems engineer working in an MNC in Information and Technology with 4 years of work exp.

Can you please give me some info on-
1. Sheffield MBA- Value for money or not?
2. What are the Job prosepects? I have heard the career counselling cell in sheffield is really good.

Please help.

Hi since you already have 3+ years of Work Exp you can try for an FT ranked B-School. If you want i can try for Bradford University for Sept 2011 intake as its in top 100 in the world.

Cardiff and Coventry accept students with no work exp so no point opting these universities as you would be studying with freshers.
