with your background, why do you eliminate top schools. In UK there is not a huge gulf between top 10 schools, so you have a decent chance to get into top 5 business schools. If fees is a problem then consider Lancaster, avoid Manchester in your list and aims for Warwick. With good GMAT >650 you can make it to Oxbridge, LBS is too expensive and Cranfield is more expensive than Lancaster but no better

I though Manchester Business School has a great international "brand". Even though the school fees of GBP33,000 is on the high side for UK MBA.

Manchester MBA 's quality is great , compare to Warwick Lancaster personally it is not any better. Lancaster business school has a very good name but not the university. Warwick is famed for both business school/uni. Manchester is well-known for the university.

Somebody pointed out the fact that Manchester was co-set up AMBA with LBS. That I am not sure, but a long time ago, UK government set up 4 top business schools to compete with USA.
Finally, only 2 created, one is MBS, and the other you may guess is LBS. So given all those years and backup MBS is not that successful.

If i were you, I would go for Warwick, I think you can get into it without much problem, Manchester does not worth the price because 18 month MBA is longer means more opportunity cost but still it is not officially seen as a 2 year MBA in the States.

Do apply for Oxbridge and LBS if you can lavish the cash and get the good GMAT ( at least 650, but you need about 700).

Besides, you can get some bursary from Lancaster/Warwick which makes it about 15 grand only. Considering the cheap pound, it is a bargain. Warwick is closer to London/Birmmingham still if you are not familiar with UK. If you make day trip to both for interviews.

If you can get into LBS/Oxbridge do it, it will serve you well thoughout the world.

If not, try applying to HKUST, the class size is small and admission will be almost as competitive as at LBS and Oxbride.

go LBS/Oxbridge/HKUST if u cant get in, wait another year and apply again, going for an MBA just to get it does not make much sense.

Warwick, Manchester or Cranfield will never be global names.

based on what you say HKUST is as competitive as Oxbridge, i know the school is doing really well recently but to earn international brand you need a lot more than that, a bunch of brainless chickens in the forum wouldnt enhance the reputation alot, in fact quite the contrary.

Do you know any Oxbridge alumni who claims their alma mater to be a globally recognised brand ? No, people always believe so, you dont need to say it to convince people.
