WIth your degree and experience, you should have tried applying to better (well known) universities like Nottingham, Bradford, Leeds, Southampton, Sheffield, Glasgow, Liverpool, etc.

Cardiff has a fresher's MBA program, you might be a misfit there even though the university is very good.

Besides, I had already applied to a few good universities like Liverpool, Sheffield etc. But somehow, they offered a place in MSc instead. I am keen on pursuing MBA only & that too this year itself.

What i am conerned about at present is that if I start applying to other universities at this moment, their decision might take a longer time than the deadline for reverting confirmation to Cardiff (i.e- by mid May).

Cardiff intakes freshers but I guess its ranking added to my work-ex may be an advantage post MBA....

I can understand your dilemma, but you need to evaluate your choices carefully. It is not a small investment. You are giving your money (fees plus living expenses), your time, and your one year salary up for the course.

Cardiff is not AMBA accredited, and as far as MBA rankings go, it does not even count. In the class you will be surrounded by freshers with whom you can share your experiences but what will you derive from their experiences? In all likelihood, nothing!

At the end of the day, it is your decision. Try for AMBA accredited universites. It may not be too late yet. That said, if you have no other option, Cardiff is fine.

I understand....From the present offers I have, I am confused between Cardiff & Manchester Metropolitan.....Manchester Met is AMBA recognized & Cardiff has overall good rankings....However, if I ask my counsellors or friends(who've studied in UK), they claim Cardiff is better....

You need to choose between MBA programmes, not between universities. Cardiff is more prestigious, but you will not learn much from the MBA there. Manchester Met is a much better MBA. However you should and can try to get into the best MBA you can. I am sure that Hult would look at you.
